Answer: Being able to sail and control a boat or manage crew in a number of different situations in varying conditions is fundamental to the making of a good yachtsperson and skipper. Our 2 Centre Training gives you the opportunity to maximise your learning environment.

Question: Where does the 2 centre take place?
Answer: Our 2 centres are at Hercules Sailing based in Gibraltar and Brixham Sea School based in Torbay, Devon.

Both centres recognise the unique challenges and benefits that each distinct location has to offer.

Temperatures in Gibraltar are usually better than the UK so you can enjoy different weather patterns with fewer layers of clothing. Sail to another continent across one of the busiest stretches of waters in the world and even get a taste of the ‘old style’ Morocco. Whilst the scenic coastline of Devon with it’s small bays and river estuary’s can both test and reward even the most confident of sailors.

We guarantee no saloon berths for students, maximum 3 per week (unless a couple sharing) so you get more quality time on the helm, navigating etc under the careful supervision of our fully qualified RYA Instructors.

The definitive way to obtain your RYA TIDAL qualification from Competent Crew to Coastal Course Completion. You can even undertake the Yachtmaster Coastal/Yachtmaster Exam at either base.

This experience is designed to be over 2 weeks at £595 per person per week. You receive a £50 voucher for use against your 2nd week upon completion of the first!

Usual start time in Gibraltar Sunday 17.00/18.00 finishing Friday 17.00. Depart Saturday am at no additional cost.
